Jumo 004
The Jumo 007 was the world's first jet engine ready for series production and was used in the Me 262 and Ar 234.
Our reproduction includes the inlet duct, the starter dome, the inlet blades, the first rotors and the first stator stage. The rotor stage rotates freely in the air flow with two industrial bearings. Thanks to collector's items and museum exhibits, the geometries could be precisely adhered to. However, flow simulations show low resistance values and moderate rpm even at high flight speeds.
Particularly suitable for turbine-powered models, as the numerous blades in the inlet area also protect the low-lying engine from objects being ingested.
